Eligibility
All films must be completed after January 1,2022.
- the maximum screening time for the submitted films is 30 minutes (including screening time) .
- participants must have all the rights of the films submitted or have been approved to submit them.
- the film can be in any language, but must include English subtitles.
Submit the request
- films must be submitted through an online platform such as filmfreeway and must follow the platform submission guidelines.
- submit video files in HD or higher resolution, and support MP4.
- the entry fee is non-refundable.
- filmmakers may submit more than one film, but each film needs to be submitted separately and for a fee.
Judge and choose
- the artistic quality, creativity, skills and storyline of the works will be the judging criteria.
- the selected films will be posted on the official website of the festival and the filmmakers will be notified.
- the festival reserves the right to select and arrange films for screening.
Copyright and screening rights
- all submitted films are copyrighted by the producer or production team.
By submitting, the film-maker agrees to allow the festival to use clips (up to 10% of the running time of the film) , posters or stills for promotional purposes.
- the festival reserves the right to screen selected films free of charge during the festival.
Fifth Place, award ceremony
Awards include, but are not limited to, best short film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, etc. .
The jury's decision is final and can not be appealed.
Additional materials
- the submitted films should be accompanied by promotional materials such as posters, profiles and biographies of the director.
- If selected, the producer must provide a high-quality version of the film for screening.
Legal liability
- It is the responsibility of the film producer to ensure that the work submitted does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
- the festival is not liable for any legal disputes relating to the submission of the film; all liability rests with the contestant.
